Charles R. Bernard
Mr. Bernard is a registered investment advisor. Prior to joining White Peaks, he was the founder of VQ Capital, a hedge fund consulting and management company. While working at VQ, Mr. Bernard analyzed hedge fund strategies and conducted due diligence on hedge fund organizations on behalf of accredited investors. Prior to working with VQ Capital, he managed investment portfolios for individual investors at A.G. Edwards and Sons, Inc. Mr. Bernard graduated from The University of Iowa with degrees in Finance and Economics.
James T. Hecker
In addition to White Peaks, Mr. Hecker is Vice President and General Counsel of Rhino Capital, Inc., a capital management company and general partner to various investment partnerships including fund of funds and opportunity capital.
He is both a CPA and an attorney. He also serves on the board of directors of a NASDAQ listed small cap company. Prior to joining Rhino in 1987, Mr. Hecker was Chief Financial Officer of a multi-state oil and gas operating company. Mr. Hecker received his JD degree from the University of Denver and a BBA from the University of Wisconsin. He is a member in good standing of the AICPA, Colorado Society of CPAs, American Bar Association, and the Colorado Bar Association.
MacDonald Hawley
In addition to White Peaks, Mr. Hawley is President of Rhino Capital, Inc., a capital management company and general partner to various investment partnerships including fund of funds and opportunity capital. Prior to forming Rhino in 1987, Mr. Hawley was president of a multi-state oil and gas operating company. He began management of a multi-strategy hedged portfolio in 1982. Mr. Hawley graduated from Claremont McKenna College with degrees in Mathematics and Philosophy. He attended The University of St Thomas graduate school.
Austin Reichardt
Prior to joining White Peaks, Mr. Reichardt was an equity analyst covering the basic materials and energy sectors for the University of Iowa Krause Fund. Mr. Reichardt also was a research analyst for Kum & Go convenience stores. He graduated from the University of Iowa with a BS in finance and also attended the University of Newcastle taking courses in international finance.
Craig Trastek
Prior to White Peaks, Mr. Trastek worked for the Mayo Clinic Medical Center in Rochester, MN as a research analyst for the Treasury Department. The department was responsible for managing the Mayo foundation pension and endowment funds. Prior to attending graduate school, he worked in internal operations at Tonto Verde Golf Club in Phoenix, AZ. Mr. Trastek graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Madison where he was a member of the golf team and received his MBA from the University of Denver's Daniels College of Business.
